Services We Provide

We offer a small practice with a capable and knowledgeable support staff focused on individuals and their needs, their families, and the types of life events that everyone can face.  We strive to be wise listeners and careful counselors.  We offer support and counsel to our clients in times of pain, hurt, sadness, and grief, as well in times of joyful anticipation.

Realizing that every family is unique, we believe that spending more time listening to the concerns that our clients express helps us shape an estate plan specifically tailored to our clients.

We make every effort to advocate and tailor our client’s legal affairs in accordance with their beliefs and lifestyles. We understand that every family is different and that all families face unique challenges. We assist clients who have family members with mental, developmental or physical disability issues that may need special attention.

We assist our clients in all types of probate proceedings, including guardianships, decedent’s estates, land sale proceedings, and even occasionally helping a client to change his name. We also tailor asset preservation plans through trusts and prenuptial agreements and offer assistance to our clients through the difficult times of a transition.

We frequently work with other small law firms as co-counsel in litigation, both at the trial and at the appellate court levels.

And, we understand that part of making a lasting plan for our clients involves more than just writing their documents. It involves education, commitment, and connecting our clients to the community resources available to them. We speak frequently to groups of lawyers, social and community groups, and church groups about issues of interest to older persons and their families.  And much of what we do is extremely rewarding. Helping a longtime client select the best retirement community for his wallet and his hobbies, and watching him blossom in his new surroundings, and having a client feel comfortable enough to stop by our office to show us a newly purchased car or to meet a visiting grandchild are all things that make the practice of law worthwhile.
